Gabby Giffords

In 2011 Gabby Giffords was a Congresswoman representing Arizona. At a campaign event, she was shot in the head but remarkably survived. After intensive rehab, she returned to the floor of Congress to speak in August 2011. She marked the 3rd anniversary of her shooting by going skydiving. In 2022, she won the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She continues to do rehab and improve in 2023.
