Helen Keller

When Helen Keller was 19mo old, she lost her hearing and vision. Despite these deficits she learned to read and write from her teacher Anne Sullivan. She went on to earn a BA from Radcliffe College (attached to Harvard), a 1st for a deafblind person, and became a lifelong disability advocate.
