Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart was an aviator who overcame societal expectations and limited opportunities for women in the early 20th century. Earhart became the 1st woman to fly solo across the Atlantic and set numerous records for altitude and speed. Despite her disappearance during an attempt to circumnavigate the world, she remains an inspiration for many.
