Hank Aaron grew up in the deeply segregated South. Despite adverse beginnings, Aaron pursued his passion for baseball starting in the Negro Leagues before advancing to the Major League. Aaron overcame racial hostility and death threats, ultimately shattering Babe Ruth's home run record.
