Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison exhibited behavior that we now call ADHD in school and had to be withdrawn for homeschooling. Around 12, he lost most of his hearing from illness. As an adult, he unsuccessfully tried over 1000 filaments in an early version of the light bulb before identifying one that would work. The discovery enabled electric lighting.
