Bethany Hamilton

Bethany Hamilton was just 13 years old when her arm was bitten off by a shark while surfing in Hawaii. She returned to surfing less than a month after the attack. She went on to have a full, decorated professional surfing career. She is currently married with three children in Hawaii.
