Thucydides

Thucydides was an Ancient Greek general and historian. As one of the world’s first historians, he emphasized rigorous, factual historical accounts. Thucydides' Trap, a term derived from his analysis, describes the tension when a rising power threatens an established one, often leading to conflict. The framework is often applied to modern US-China relations.
